A DAY TRIP TO THE UMBRIA REGION

Umbria, a mountainous region, is located north of the Latium, where the capital Rome is situated. Less acknowledged for its scenery than its neighbor Tuscany, Umbria nevertheless is home to several beautiful and famous towns such as Gubbio, Perugia, Orvieto and Assisi.

NAPLES AND POMPEI

The duration of this tour is 10 hours.
Approximately two and a half hours drive time from Rome is one of the oldest cities in world… Naples! A world heritage city, and the largest historical city in Europe. 40 minutes from Naples is the historical town of Pompeii, founded between the 7^th and 6^th century BC and buried by molten lava from the eruption of the Vesuvius in 79 AD. Still evident, today, are the remains of the town with a view of The Vesuvius dominating the ruins.

Guide services are provided at an extra cost. Entry to Pompeii is not included, tickets can be purchased directly. Euro 11 per person.

TIVOLI GARDENS, VILLA ADRIANA AND VILLA D’ESTE

The duration of this tour is 5 hours.

Tivoli is an historical hill top town, older than Rome. There are two important attractions in Tivoli. Villa D’Este, with beautiful terraced gardens and over one hundred fountains, and Villa Adriana, the holiday villa of the Emperor Hadrian, a gigantic complex constructed in the early 3rd Century. Entries are not included. Tickets can be purchased directly euro 9.50 per person for EACH Villa.

OSTIA ANTICA

The duration of this tour is 5 hours.

A drive of approximately forty minutes from Rome Centre will find you in the town of Ostia, founded in the 7th Century BC, became a lucrative harbor town in the 1st to 4th Century AD.

Visit the well preserved remains of the Ancient town.

Entry is not included. Tickets can be purchased directly euro 8 per person
